The land of seas, trees, and ocean breeze, and of course, the Tillamook Creamery. The North Oregon coast is a beautiful area to visit, regardless of if you are fishing or not. The area is host to miles upon miles of public beach access, quiet seaside towns, along with some of the best seafood around. Being only an hour and a half from downtown Portland, the area is somewhat of a tourist hotspot. Thankfully, during our steelhead season, it is the off season for tourism. This gives plenty of lodging availability for our guests during their trips. If researching logistics, we suggest looking for lodging in the area from the Tillamook/Netarts area north to the Manzanita area. The closest airport is Portland International (PDX) and it is about a hour and forty-five-minute drive from Tillamook. We are more than happy to help with any lodging/transportation questions you might have.
