Our bread and butter! There are five separate rivers that flow into Tillamook Bay, as well as the Nestucca, and Nehalem watersheds. This gives us many options for a day float. We run day trips on the North Coast from December 1st up to the first week of April. All necessary tackle and rods can be provided, as well as lunch.
Rates are $500 for a single angler and $550 for two anglers. $100 deposit to hold the day.
The river that started it all, well depending on who you ask. The Skagit is a spectacular river, with spectacular fish, and holds a lot of spey casting tradition and history. The first major closure the Skagit sustained was in 2010 and has had sporadic openings since 2018. As I write this is March 2026 and the State of Washington is not going to open the fishery. This is not due to lack of forecasted fish, but funding rather, which is a major bummer. It is anticipated that the Skagit/Sauk will open in 2027. Depending on if the season opens, and for what dates, we plan on being on the Skagit/Sauk from April 1-15, 2027, and running day float trips out of Rockport. Reach out if interested.
Rates are $550 for a single angler and $600 for two anglers. $100 deposit to hold the day.
Come fishing with us and have your food and lodging taken care of with our all-inclusive rental lodge program. Let chef Ryan Milton prepare you a five-star meal while you swing your last run of the day, and come back to a luxurious lodge to unwind before another day of searching for Steel. There is a lifetimes worth of Steelhead water to explore on The North Coast, but getting four days worth of fishing will give you the opportunity to see plenty of what the area has to offer. Please reach out for more information.
